First of all Goodmorning and thanks for your time that you gave us in your kingdom. It would be a good practice start the interview by asking what is your preferred dish to cook, but we want to know more about you so we ask you… what is the dish you hate to cook?
<<MMMhhh let me think… I like to cook and it’s difficult say a hateful dish for me, but maybe I’d say stuffed squids: they have a long procedure. With the same time I prefer cooking tasty “linguine allo scoglio”, a kind of pasta with seafood.>>

Noah in his ark saved seven couples of animals, which ingredients would you never leave on land?
<< Absolutly Red Onion of Tropea, but I want to clarify that I’m from Maratea. Olive oil, flour 00, black rice, cherry tomatoes and last, but not least, a nice slice of Amberjack, with these few ingredients I could make different kinds of appetizers, first and second courses. >>

A four hands dinner with Gordon Ramsey, Joe Bastianich, Antonino Cannavacciuolo or if you want something done, do it yourself?
<<Without a doubt great chefs, but in my opinion if you want something done, do it yourself. My passion is cooking and do it by myself lets me to use all my creativity, this is the right ingredient that lets me love everyday this job.>>

Now we ask you to complete the sentence: if I hadn’t become a chef I’d have done…
<<…a fisherman! When I was a child I didn’t like to go to school and so I’ve gone fishing with my Dad. My passion for the sea is inside of me, maybe this is the reason why my best dishes are with fish.>>

Carlo Cracco says that “To be cool you have to use the shallot”, but if we want just cooking well?
<<Mah! If Cracco says so I don’t argue, but in my opinion the only ingredient that makes you cool is “passion”.>>

To finish the interview we want to know who is your master, the person from which you learned more.
<<Without a doubt Mario Ariello: master of life, of travels and of cooking. Together we did a lot of experiences: we left from Maratea and we went to Spain, Lampedusa and Abruzzo. At the end I stopped in Rome, first in a well known restaurant in Trastevere and then here at Hotel Pulitzer.>>
